Since 4 pm on September 9, 2019, inbound passengers have entered the country with pork products from the Philippines.
After being seized, the first violation will be punishable by NT$200,000 and the second will be fined by NT$ 1 million;
The foreigner was fined 200,000 yuan and failed to pay the penalty. The immigration department refused to enter the country on the spot.
Remind passengers from both Taiwan and the Philippines to never carry pork products from the Philippines.
In case of entry, offenders will be severely punished.
